Podcast Killed The Radio Star

There are many differences between podcasts and Radios, the most basic of uses for the podcast is to download information that you can continue to listen to or use over and over again. On a podcast you can also pause, rewind and fast foward. It is like a computer version of a CD Player. You download the podcast off the internet onto your computer then you plug in your ipod or your MP3 and you download it onto the ipod or MP3. Radio is a constant player of information and entertainment that cannot be downloaded or edited, just listened to.

HOW Do We FIND A Podcast??

Anywhere on the internet where a user or Podcaster (person who creates a podcast) advertises it.

SO...... How Do We Make A Podcast??

The content provider begins by making a file (for example, an MP3 audio file) available on the Internet. This is usually done by posting the file on a publicly available webserver; however, BitTorrent trackers also have been used, and it is not technically necessary that the file be publicly accessible. The only requirement is that the file be accessible through some known URL (a general-purpose Internet address). This file is often referred to as one episode of a podcast.
